It's a little weird moving around all of your life. My family has moved from Albania, which is in Europe, (it is NOT next to Italy, contrary to popular belief), to Garfield, Ohio. We switched through many apartment complexes until it was to a new suburb called Lakewood. In 2008, my family moved to Northeast Philadelphia, and with my parents barely speaking English, it was a pretty hard move for us. Nonetheless, everything worked out. I was just starting the third grade and my one older sister was entering eighth grade. We had previously been in the same school my entire life, so it was a difficult transition for the both of us. School in Philadelphia was slightly different from school in a small suburb; in the best way possible. Bigger schools meant bigger opportunities. Diversity in schools meant finding my passion of equal opportunities for everyone, justice in the criminal justice system, finding safe spaces for people who need them, etc.. Do people even still listen to albums? With the creation of smart devices where you can create personalized playlists, people just do not bond with whole albums like they used to. However, I still think they're pretty cool and worth looking into; seeing how they've varied over the years, and if they still hold the same basic conventions. So, before even reading a review, I assume they have an unspoken, basic or, if you will, apparent kind of rule to them. Will they consist of: -something that relates to the critic personally? -the musical tone of the album? -a certain feeling/belief/ideology they believe the artist is trying to put forward? -favorite lyrics? favorite song? -a rating on a scale? -comparison to past work? or another artist? -will the critic include either criticism or approval; or will they remain neutral? -will they describe the album? try to paint a visual picture of the album with the way they describe it?
